COVID-19 and studio sessions:
In light of the current pandemic my studio is currently closed to clients (as at 6 June 2020) but I anticipate being back open in July. Until then I will continue to shoot product photography which doesn’t require any contact. I’ve taken time to research COVID-19 and photography studios so that when the studio does re-open I will be taking all the necessary precautions, including using hand sanitiser, face masks, cleaning between sessions etc. These practical steps will ensure that I am safeguarding the health and safety of everyone attending a shoot in relation to COVID-19 and to ensure I’m meeting my obligations to do so under the Health and Safety at Work Act, and Government guidelines & regulations on COVID-19, including The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020 (expiring 26 Sept 2020).
On the day of the shoot, I will be asking that the number of people on location be kept to a minimum, therefore only the people who are absolutely required to be present at the shoot should attend. Those present will be asked to sign a COVID-19 Health Statement as part of my commitment to provide a safe environment for all during the unprecedented, fast-changing COVID-19 situation.
I am currently following all of the NHS and Government advice to look after my family, friends and clients health. My risk assessment and COVID-19 preparedness plan is available upon request.
Please note that the shoot is likely to take longer to enable compliance as a result.
