Rachael & Marc
Royal Brighton Pavilion Wedding and The Grand Brighton
Today I’m sharing with you the wedding of Rachael and Marc who had to wait two and a half years on from their original booking because of the pandemic BUT boy was it worth the wait!
They started their day at The Grand Hotel Brighton for bridal and groom prep before heading to the Royal Brighton Pavilion for their intimate ceremony. They continued their celebrations back at The Grand for their wedding breakfast, speeches and of course cutting cake and first dance before partying the night away.
Their theme was art deco and this was seen throughout the day in the well thought out details, from the cake to the stationery.
Some special moments that stick with me:
1. How the bridal suite decor perfectly matched the green colour scheme of the wedding, almost as if Rachael had asked The Grand to re-decorate specially!
2. The Grand staircase that made for a breathtaking backdrop to bridal portraits.
3. Having exclusive access to the Music Room at the Royal Brighton Pavilion for couple portraits after the ceremony.
4. Being granted very special authorisation to have a confetti shot outside in the grounds of the Royal Brighton Pavilion.
5. The 3 best men (also Marc’s band members) giving the MOST epic best man speech which included a song dedicated to Marc’s life to the tune of Blur’s 90’s hit Parklife!
6. A multi-tiered vegan wedding cake – my favourite being the Biscoff tier.
7. Evening couple portraits along the seafront.
8. A first dance performed by Marc’s band – Guilt Coins.
Here are a few highlights from their day.
